Eric Pulier, Executive Chairman

Mr. Pulier has been a pioneer in the software and digital interactive industries for over 15 years.  In 1997, the Presidential Inaugural Committee selected Mr. Pulier to create and execute the Presidential Technology Exhibition in Washington D.C.  Subsequently, the President and Vice President personally unveiled his company’s work for the Starbright Foundation, and Mr. Pulier became an advisor to the Vice President on National Health Care initiatives for the Family Reunion Conference.  The most successful and best-known venture capital groups in the world have financed companies that Mr. Pulier has founded or co-founded.  He has been instrumental in establishing ground-breaking technology companies in several sectors including media management (IVT), Professional Services (US Interactive), voice systems (VoiceTap), and peer-to-peer networking (Mediator). As Executive Chairman of SOA Software, Mr. Pulier devotes himself to a singular focus: the standards-based real-time enterprise.  Recently named one of 30 e-Visionaries by VAR Business, Mr. Pulier is a popular public speaker at premier technology conferences around the globe.  He is a member of the board of directors for the Center for Telecommunications Management in Los Angeles.

Paul Gigg, President and CEO

Mr. Gigg is a four-time CEO with a track record of building companies to profitability through organic growth and acquisitions. He has operated both public and private corporations in the United States and abroad, and has strong international experience with both financing and achieving dramatic sales growth.  Most recently, he was a Vice President of IBM following his sale of Access360 to the technology giant.  Prior to Access360, he led the expansion of software vendor ISOCOR, and orchestrated its sale to Critical Path.  In the years before ISOCOR, he built and ran numerous technology companies doing business in a variety of global markets, and is widely recognized as a leader with both entrepreneurial and operational skills.  He has a solid understanding of the issues, processes and paths to success for early-stage software companies, and has an excellent track record of bringing small vendors into the large enterprise IT marketplace.  He has built value for customers and shareholders alike, by enabling large enterprises to control costs, introduce new capabilities and business models, through the implementation of innovative technology.  Further to this end, Mr. Gigg has initiated and leveraged major OEM relationships, often leading to a merger or acquisition.  He is known for attracting and retaining talented managers, contributing to his broad handling of business issues on the path to profit.  His reputation for success in market- and company-building encompasses an understanding of organizational expansion and change, and a focus towards attaining excellence, all with profitable results.  He serves on the Boards of Directors of several early-stage companies, and participates as an investor in various startup opportunities.

G. Bradford Jones

Mr. Jones is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. He is also a general partner of Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1981.  He has managed successful investments in communications, software, semiconductors, Internet infrastructure, Internet commerce and Internet content.  A sampling of his investments includes communications companies such as Multilink Technology and ComCore/National Semiconductor; Internet companies such as Sandpiper Networks/Digital Island/Cable & Wireless and Stamps.com; and software companies such as Apriso and Filenet. His investment focus is on communications, Internet and software opportunities that are located in Southern California.  Mr. Jones received an A.B. in Chemistry and an A.M. in Physics from Harvard University. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a J.D. from the Stanford Law School.

Michael Steed

Mr. Steed is the Founder and Managing Director of Paladin Capital Group, located in Washington, DC.  Paladin is a private equity firm primarily targeting privately held, small to medium sized companies that are market leaders in their industry group. Prior to founding Paladin Capital, Mr. Steed served as the Senior Vice President of Investments at a financial services holding company located in Washington, DC where he was responsible for 78 direct co-investments and fund investments from 1992 to 1999, including all investments in a private capital fund where Mr. Steed had primary management responsibility.  Since it’s founding, Paladin has, through its Funds, completed six deals, totaling $62 million in invested capital.  Michael Steed is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles and received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law.

Jeff Anderson

Jeff Anderson is a Managing Director of Mellon Ventures in Los Angeles. He brings over 13 years of venture capital experience and focuses on software and Internet opportunities. He is currently a director of seven privately held companies and has led or sponsored Mellon’s investments into a number of successful technology companies including Exult (EXLT), Lexar Media (LEXR), Multex (acquired by Reuters), Netscaler (acquired by Citrix Systems) and Snap Appliance (acquired by Adaptec). Prior to joining Mellon Ventures, Jeff was with BA Venture Partners, the venture capital affiliate of BankAmerica Corporation, where he focused on information technology opportunities. Jeff also worked in product development at The Charles Schwab Corporation. Jeff received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and completed his postgraduate education at the London Business School.

Anders Richardson

Mr. Richardson is active in all aspects of deal sourcing, due diligence and execution. Prior to co-founding Palisades Ventures, Mr. Richardson worked in the Investment Banking Division of DLJ and focused on public and private placements of debt and equity securities and buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory services in a variety of industries. Mr. Richardson sits on the boards of SOA Software and V-Enable and is a board observer for Lucix Corporation, Avexus, and Language Weaver. Mr. Richardson received a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
