Software Engineer

Participate in the design and development of Web-based projects and services.  Work closely with other team members, project management and operations teams to design and implement key features and functionality and deliver a quality product to market in a timely manner.

Skills Required:
Programming knowledge in Java, C/C++.  Client-side programming for cross-browser based Internet applications.  Ability to successfully build scalable Web applications and services.  Network programming experience.  Diverse platform / development experience (UNIX/Linux, Windows, HTML, DHTML/Javascript, XML, JSP/servlets).  Strong application and systems design skills.  Good written, communication and teamwork skills.

Skills Desired:
Knowledge of Internet security and firewall issues.  Experience with database design and implementation.  Knowledge of BEA Weblogic and IBM WebSphere.

Experience Required:
Training or software development or experience in one complete software development lifecycle.

Educational Preference:
BS or equivalent experience in technical field.
